Coming Up at the Churches of the Romney Marsh

These events are worth highlighting as important dates for the calendar where the churches play host to something very special.

Romney Marsh Churches AGM  May 2018

The Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust’s Annual General Meeting will take place in May 2018. Exact date and venue to be confirmed. All members are welcome to attend.

Jam on the Marsh 6th – 15th July 2018

JAM on the Marsh is an annual multi-arts festival built around Kent’s magnificent Romney Marsh and its famous medieval churches. Each year JAM on the Marsh crosses the Romney Marsh from Dungeness to Hythe and Lympne to New Romney. The Marsh churches are true beacons of culture and history; they are the heart of the festival, from which arts and photography, theatre, poetry and children a events are hosted there. Snave Harvest Festival – 9th September 2018

The Church of St Augustine, Snave has been redundant since 1983. It is held in trust and is maintained wholly under the aegis of Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust. There is an annual thanksgiving service held at 3pm on the second Sunday in September (9 September 2018) to which all are welcome.
